Ninety Percent of Indie Music Venues Expect to Close Forever if Shutdowns Last for Months to Come

However there is some good news.


The Save Our Stages Act has passed as part of the Covid-19 Relief Bill (S.4258 — 116th Congress). 

The bill is 5,500 pages.  You can find the Save Our Stages portion on pages 2124 to 2153. (See PDF)

There is $15 billion in grants available to independent live venues and some related businesses. 

 If you are in need of assistance, call your lawyer and accountant to see how you can qualify.
